Oh my!! I know your struggle!! I don’t know how long until I finally figured out not the straighten my whole head first, but it is such a time saver!! And if you just take the time the first day I promise your hair will get used to the not washing part!!

You are so adorable! I love everything you do – your blog & your IG & now this! 🙂 Thanks for the tutorial. I have the same type of hair as you and I’m sick of flat ironing it all. It takes forever. I’m going to try this and wash less. The video is a good speed. I would have watched in regular speed, but the speeding up was good, too. I’m trying to memorize how you use the Nume. It’s tricky without a clamp. You make it look so easy!

Hey Jen!!
So when its’ wet use gel or mouse and then dry your hair with it in there. Also, use a thermal spray before you curl. I linked to my favorite on the original hair video. This helps your hair hold the curl or helps it stay straight so it works both ways + protects your hair. Also, I’d spray your curls after each layer and wait at least 10 minutes for them to fully cool down before you start to style.

i do have a question i’d love your opinion on…. my hair is naturally wavy but does NOT hold curls long or very well at all. Are there any products you would recommend to use on my hair before curling? Thanks!
