Happy Monday friends!! So the husband + kids were beyond sweet and got me this pale pink purse for Mother’s Day!! I might have slightly freaked out!! All I have to say is that it’s the perfect size + the color is even better in person + I love the long strap shoulder strap!! I rounded up a few more fun spring / summer purses that I think are just darling + I have been eyeing…like this tan fringe one for only $28 and I am dying to snag this REVERSIBLE coral tote…it’s like to purses in one! You just can’t beat that + the price is amazing!! I always love adding a little more color to my outfit for just changing up my purse for the week. Happy Friday friends!! So “basically” I feel like we all need a few basic staples in our wardrobe/closets. Pieces that can go with almost everything + are so simple to style. I swear I can pair this denim jacket with almost everything + I wear it weekly!! I love to add it to a nice black dress if I’m trying to tone down the look, and we all know Converse are a must! Every girl (or person for that matter) needs a pair or two or three. Now lets talk about this basic grey dress that is NON-maternity…ladies it is ONLY $27!! Yes, such a steal from Target + I have two other colors!! This is the perfect summer dress. I have dressed it up with a blazer + heels like here…or down with my denim jacket + tennies. Do yourself a favor and go snag one!! (these sold out fast awhile ago) Last but not least, we all need a good basic colored purse that goes with everything. I usually like to switch up my purses quite a bit, but I have honestly not changed out my purse for over a year and half!! That’s just how much I love this grey purse!

So we are SEVEN weeks away from meeting baby #4!! I seriously can’t believe it is getting so close! The little people asked yesterday if we could start looking through all the baby items we have so far, and of course I was more then happy to bust them out. Hunter asked why everything we had was grey?! Haha. I kinda was thinking the same thing + this not finding out the gender is starting to get hard. We all can hardly wait to find out if this baby is a boy or girl, but until then “gender neutral” it is. Here are just a few of my favorite baby items…some we have and some I am still needing to get. This smoothie is the perfect post workout fuel – it is ideal to consume within 45 minutes after a really intense workout (long/hard sprints, circuit/interval training/HIIT, or cross fit type workouts)…the type of workout you know you’ll be sore from. Or in my situation just consume anyday + everyday! Haha. Enjoy!

 

CHERRY CITRUS RECOVERY SMOOTHIE : (serves 2)

1 package organic frozen cherries
3 limes, juiced
2 clementines, juiced
3/4 cup coconut water
2 scoops Tera’s  Grass-fed Whey, vanilla
(ice if desired)
Blend all ingredients in your blender/blendtec. Enjoy!

So I have been wanting to add some more color into my family’s everyday life. Over the weekend my mom was in town, and as we were cleaning up breakfast…I thought why not just grab some colored dishes for everyday?! So later that day off to the mall we went. We stopped by Anthropologie and I about died over these bowls + these!! My kids had read my mind and were already calling/assigning everyone in the household a color. Of course I had to snag every color! I seriously love them + my kids have loved helping wash and put the dishes away. Happy Monday friends!!

I have been loving all the picks /choices for diaper bags out there! You don’t have to sacrifice your style for sensibility when it comes to buying a bag. I fell like diaper bags have come along way, even since my last baby almost 4 years ago. Now they are so modern + sleek and well just fabulous looking! I like to stick with neutrals so it goes with any outfit and can be used for your future babes, but I also love color and bright colors at that!!! So I always have a hard time deciding. If you like color I recommend Petunia Pickle Bottom bags – there’s so many fun prints + styles to chose from. Happy Wednesday friends! I honestly can not believe that we are in May! I need time to slow down just a bit…anyone else feel like this? So yes, I bought myself a Mother’s Day dress. Haha. Just like I buy my girls Easter dresses. I think we all deserve it! So I actually couldn’t wait till Mother’s Day to wear this tank dress (plus I’ve probably wore it a dozen times already) but being pregant and all, dresses are just the most comforable thing + I can’t bring myself to buy more maternity jeans, as this will be our last babe. So it looks like it’s dresses from here on out till this baby comes.

Can we chat about my favorite coral wedges EVER + this amazingly huge purse (which my husband calls my suitcase). These wedges are seriously so comfortable….I know every girl says that about every shoe, but honestly, these babies are! Both my sisters bought a pair as well when we were in vegas on our girls trip, so you know I’m not crazy talk and they come in more fabulous colors!! And, my “suitcase”/purse…this thing is big, but with three little people and another on the way I’m always carrying everyones extra stuff. I love how roomy this purse is + it comes with a small clutch that I think is genius! I put all my items in there, so when I don’t have my littles I just grab the clutch and go! I can’t believe it’s already the weekend again!! So I got this amazing (non maternity) pink dress a few weeks ago and wore it for date night. I honestly got had a handful of girls ask me where I got it. Seriously, this dress is so simple but the length, v-neck and material are so flattering on all body types. I love that is can be dressed up or down (as is with most of the dresses I buy). Who doesn’t love versatility?! Plus did I mention this dress is under $50 + it comes in a few other colors?! easy strawberry smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

– 1/2 cup milk (regular milk, coconut or almond…I use whatever we have at the time)

– 1/2 orange juice

– 1 cup strawberries (I use frozen when I’m in a hurry but fresh strawberries are great as well)

– 1 banana

– 1 cup frozen fruit (sometimes I use the mixed fruit but I also love just using pineapple)

(you can add a few ice cubes if you’d like to thicken up the texture)

 

That’s it!!! So super easy + fast! Just throw it all in a blender and blend. My kids love this for a snack anytime during the day or night. We usually do these after dinner or I’ll make them before we head out to the pool.

Also, a fetish I have (I got this from my mom + my husband thinks it’s hilarious) is whenever we have a fun smoothie or Orange Julius I ALWAYS have to drink it out of a fun or fancy glass. I’m not sure why, but I just love it + you know if always makes the drink/smoothie taste better! Haha. My kids have caught onto this and now they request the same + we always use these fun Paper Straws. I just ordered these fun Mason Jars…seriously so cute! Enjoy + go make yourself a strawberry smoothie!!
