Alright question time! Are you sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the holiday season? Or are you still doing a little bit of a last minute hustle to get your gift list checked off? I am just about done, except for a few family gifts. For some reason those seem to be the trickiest for me just because it’s such a broad subject! But I stumbled across a new mom hack that takes the guesswork out of your gift ideas and I’m teaming up with Walmart to tell you all about it!!

:: THE GIFT FINDER

Ok before we dive into my roundup of fun last minute family gifts, I have to show you the magic tool that helped me narrow down what I wanted to get and how easy it is to use!! It is new to Walmart’s website and it is called THE GIFT FINDER. It is a busy mom’s dream to saving time on gift buying so you can spend more time enjoying the holidays.

At the bottom of the menu on the home page, you will see the gift finder. Click on that and it will take you to this amazing holiday gifting hack. You’ll see a prompt to enter in a little bit of criteria (all optional) depending on who you are gifting too. You can choose age, gender, price range, and even interests. Once you fill in what you would like, you click search and it curates an amazing list of gift ideas that match your needs! I love that it takes all the guesswork out of it for you and helps you come up with things you might not have on your own! As if that doesn’t save you enough time, once you’ve narrowed down your selections, you can choose one of Walmart’s quick delivery or pick up options and you are done!

Now that you know how to use the Gift Finder, let’s talk about the fun gift ideas it helped me find!! When it comes to gifts for the family, I don’t know why I didn’t think of games! We love board games and card games in our house, and have really added to our collection this year. The Walmart Gift Finder helped me quickly find a bunch we love already to gift, as well as some new ones I’m getting our family to enjoy during the holiday break. We took a little breather on the gift guide front, but we are back with one of our very favorites to put together! Kids STOCKING STUFFERS!! I swear little stocking stuffers are one of the things my kids look forward to the most! We love to keep some things traditions we gift every year, but coming up with new fun ideas can be tricky! So today we rounded up some of our tried + true ideas plus some new favorite finds to cover all your stocking stuffers needs!

:: GIFT CARDS 

This one is one of those stocking stuffer traditions we try to incorporate every year because the kids LOVE them!! We love gifting them, because it isn’t just a gift card, but it is gifting a “kids date” with one or both of us. They love this one on one time just as much as us and it has quickly become a favorite tradition. You could do gift cards to their favorite store, treat spot, restaurant, or an activity!

:: GAMES 

I never thought of us as big gamers, but the pandemic/quarantine and more time spent at home has brought it out in us. It has quickly become one of our favorite things to do together as a family. Small card or dice games make great stocking stuffers and I love that there is a variety for toddlers up to bigger kids. Some of our favorites are monopoly deal, spot it, and the classic uno.

:: HYGEINE ITEMS 

I know I know, not really super presentish right? They may not be as exciting as other gifts, but you can still put a fun spin on it. Instead of just soap, get a fun new bath bomb or bath crayons. For your teens go with a billie razor (best ever), their favorite perfume or new cologne, or these cool toothbrushes. Even a new chapstick or lip gloss!

:: TECH 

When it comes to gifting these days you can never go wrong with tech ideas. We don’t go too overboard on price with our stocking stuffers, but you could do something like a watch band or new phone case. :: ACCESSORIES 

Stocking stuffers are known for their size because well they have to fit in a stocking!! That makes them the perfect place to gift accessories. Everything from jewelry (earrings, bracelets or necklaces)  and sunglasses to wallets and beanies. You could even add in the new accessory of 2020, face masks!

:: TOYS 

Last but not least are your tiny toys. I don’t like to add a ton of these because I just don’t love having cheap low quality toys all over the house. But there are a few we love that fit the size criteria and are favorites! Things like playdoh and paint dots, or little princesses and finger skateboards work great!

Over on Instagram I shared my secret little gifting hack that has been a game changer when it comes to the holidays. The response was overwhelming with both excitement + questions! So today I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom x Kiehl’s to share some of my favorite holiday gift sets and that little gifting hack that will make finishing up your shopping a breeze!

When it comes to holiday gifts, I am always looking for ways to gift my favorite products. You are gifting to your favorite people. So it should be your favorite things right?!  But the price point doesn’t always make that doable. That is where my little gifting hack comes in to play. I love getting holiday sets like these, and breaking them down into smaller gifts. For example you could take this balm set, and break it into 3 perfectly sized stocking stuffers. The bigger hand creams could be used for multiple girlfriend gifts or a favorite things party!

Now let’s talk sets. Nordstrom always seems to come out with the BEST sets for the holidays with top high end brands like Kiehl’s. Their options for sure did not disappoint this year. I love the variety of sizes from full size hand cream, to the multi set of smaller creams or balms. And of course, like always with Nordstrom you have free shipping so you can shop them all from the comfort of your home.

In addition to my gifting hack, these holiday sets are a great way to test out some products you have had your eye on but weren’t ready to commit to the full size. They usually come with a variety so you can test them out and find your favorite!

We are still going strong with our gift guide extravaganza and today is a fun one!! Today we are teaming up with Walmart to share some fun gift ideas that are perfect for the whole family! Our favorite thing to do as a family is to get outside and move with our family, and these gift ideas reflect that! Some we already own and use often, and some we have at the top of our lists! Check them out for some fun ideas for your family or gifts for those you love!

:: KAYAK

Ok this idea comes completely from my best friend/assistant. Her family has this kayak and absolutely loves it!! Everything deflates and folds up super compact into a big similar to an air mattress bag, so it is so convenient to throw in the car for a road trip. They have used it at local lakes, taken it to Canada, and even fit it in a carryon suitcase to use in Hawaii! For size reference, her family of 4 (2 parents + 2 small kids) can all fit in it. There is also this great option too that is also inflatable. I just love that it is the ticket to so many new family adventures.

:: VOLLEYBALL SET 

If you saw the details of our Mexico trip, you know we played volleyball in the pool literally every single day. It was so much fun! I love that this is another fun gift idea that gets you active and outdoors, but is simple enough for kids to play too. You could use it in your backyard, or if you have a pool get one for over the pool. We love ours!

:: INDOOR BASKETBALL SHOOTOUT 

We don’t have one of these yet, but it is included here in this list because my kids (and joe) are begging for one this year. Joe’s brother has it and when we went up this summer they all played it for hours. It brings a fun family friendly competition and is a great option for when you are stuck indoors for the Winter.

:: CORNHOLE

Oh my gosh, cornhole is one of our family’s absolute favorite games! We get so competitive!! Our family loves it so much that a  few years ago, Joe made one for a surprise homemade gift for his brother, and his brother unknowingly did the exact same thing! It is another great one to have on vacation because it is easy to set up in a backyard, on the beach, or anywhere, and the whole family even the babies can play.

:: 3 IN 1 GAME TABLE 

When I saw this game table I thought it was such a fun family gift idea! We currently have an air hockey table that we love to play as a family, but the addition of fuse ball and pool would be so fun!! This is another one I love to bring some family fun inside during the colder months.

:: SPIKEBALL 

If you haven’t played spikeball yet, this needs to be at the top of your family wish list! It is such a fun game!! The kids love to just play around on it, but we played it with just the adults when we went to Hawaii and it was so much fun!! Totally makes you feel like a kid again with how hard you will be laughing.

:: SOCCER GOAL 

If you need a gift idea for someone with a lot of kids, this soccer goal + ball is such a great one. Super easy to store, and lightweight so they can move it around where they want it. We love using it for family games or for practicing for games.

When it comes to the holiday season, I am obsessed with creating and continuing on little traditions with my people. Something about having something to look forward to that leaves that memory with them means so much to me. When we first started our little family and it was just Joe, Hunter, and I, I wanted to start something to help me feel a little less home sick. I’m sure you’ve all heard of the very common Christmas tradition of getting pajamas on Christmas Eve. I love pajamas and thought it was the sweetest tradition, but put my own spin on it and we have loved it alllll these years later!

While I loved the idea behind the tradition, I didn’t love the timing. I am a sucker for the cute very Christmasy MATCHING pajamas. So you can see my problem with the timing. I wanted to be able to sport our cute pajamas all season long! So we had the idea to open our pajamas on Thanksgiving night instead! It has become one of our very favorite traditions that we still do all these years later!!

Since a lot of you do this tradition too, I’ve been getting questions on where we find our matching pajamas and to link some of our favorites. I have shared over on Instagram that our very favorite pajamas for kids are Shop Plain Jane. They are very simple patterns or plain colors, like you’ll see the kids wearing (minus Hudson), and range from size 12-18 month all the way up to a 10 AND they have women’s sets too! The material is buttery soft and stretchy so they are so comfortable!! I promise you will love them! **Some of their holiday sizes show sold out BUT will be restocked over the next week so be sure to click you want to be notified!
