But I think some people don’t think about a great pair of black denim can be a HUGE closet staple — especially for fall!! I rounded up some of the best jeans from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and included my four most worn denim through out the year!!

1. Dark Wash Denim – these are the most versatile kind of jeans as they basically go with anything and everything in your closet. You can dress them down with a basic tee and sandals, or dress them up with a silky blouse + heels. You find more dark wash denim HERE.
2. White Denim – these are my most worn jeans during the summer for sure!! Just make sure you try out a few pairs because I’ve found a pair or two that are are see-through. Lots more white denim options HERE + my favorite and most worn pair just got marked down to $35!!
3. Black Denim – So I love black denim as an alternative to dark wash denim because it’s sleek and super classy! I also like that black can easily make any outfit more edgy. See a bunch more of my favs HERE!
4. Boyfriend/Distressed Denim – a pair of distressed jeans is a staple in my everyday outfits!! I’ve you’ve been around for awhile you know I wear these about every other day. haha. Plus they’re only $88 and are the perfect amount of boyfriend fit.

Guys, I LOVE this dress and it sold out on day two (which I’m honestly not surprised about!), but I found a this dress in the SALE that is super similar to this one! I hope it gets restocked soon!! I’ve been dying to exercise regularly again + I just want to feel strong and toned! I think it’s been at least 3 years since I’ve been on any type of workout routine because I’ve either been pregnant or nursing. We are finally feeling a bit settled so I’m excited to get looking for a gym and start going again.
I’m still trying to figure out how to fit it into my schedule. I just can’t wake up too early… as I’m always up late working. Any suggestions are welcome! But I do have to say all the darling exercise gear/workout clothes are a huge motivator!! I was thrilled to finally buy some updated workout clothes from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I’m dying over these Nikes and its no surprise they’re pink! I’m in love with anything and everything pink – if you haven’t noticed!!
I rounded up some of the best workout items from the sale and linked everything below + a bunch of my favorites. These Nike shoes (hoping they restock them soon) run true to size and are the lightest pair of gym shoes I have ever owned. I ended up sizing up a size in this jacket (I’m wearing a small) just because it fits pretty tight and this sports bra is amazing!!! Hope your all enjoying your summer!! Love you all!!

It’s no surprise that I love a good dress!! Especially one that’s simple, doesn’t have to be layered or have a tank underneath it because it’s too low you know what I mean?! I found this dress last week at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! I love the simple hem line and the little ruffle detail is perfect. It’s super lightweight but not see-through and the perfect length!! (I’m wearing a size 4 for a little added length).
I chose these booties (that are under $100) and the perfect shade of grey to dress the whole look down a bit, since most days I’m running around with all the little people. You can see here I dressed it up for church yesterday.

This basic tee (for only $15) I bought in four colors!! I’m wearing a small because I wanted a bit of a looser fit. Cardigan -small and jeans I’m wearing a size 28. I tried on a 26 but they were a tad to tight. But there is a darker wash of this exact jean and I got the 26. So I’d size up one size in this wash.
Hello Friends!! So I finally got around to posting all my dressing room pics from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! And guys there were soooo many great items!! Plus, I was there longer then I’d like to admit! haha. So I know the whole sale can be a bit overwhelming and in your face — but it’s actually the best time to snag a few basics or even stock up on your simple tees and jeans.
Below I shared all the fit and sizing details with you so you could grab some great deals while they’re still available. I just have to put it out there that these items WILL sell out extremely fast, as a bunch of my favorites have already sold out — but a few items have been restocked!! This sports bra is amazing!!! Really who knew they made them this cute. I’m wearing a small in the bra, leggings and jacket below. These leggings are high-waisted and a game changer for all of us that like to keep cover up that area. And these Nikes are the lightest weight gym shoe I have EVER owned!! And they have already been restocked once.
This cardigan is the soooooftest!! I got an xs/s but if you want a more oversized look I’d size up to the medium. These Adidas run a bit big so go do 1/2 a size!

After I had all my babies I lived in shape-wear for the next few months. I swear by Spanx to help your hips go back down. I still love to wear shape-wear sometimes just to help smooth out all the bumps + it just gives me that extra comfort that I like to have.
Time to talk shopping SMART. Don’t go buy a million things just because it’s on SALE. Go through your closet and look at what you really need. Think of staple pieces: jeans, a nice pair of booties, t-shirt and a good button up that will last a long time.
Also, shop online to avoid all the crowds!! Nordstrom has FREE SHIPPING + RETURNS so take this huge advantage. Now it’s time to get shopping and stocking up those closets for fall and maybe buying a few gifts for the holidays all on SALE!!
As a mom of five little people you can image the loads of laundry I end up washing!! Not to mention packing for trips can be a bit overwhelming with everyones clothes + shoes and trying to pack “light” for a family of seven is crazy. So I take every chance I can get to match them all and the biggest reason why is because it cuts my laundry time in half!! Dressing my people in the same color (or two) allows me to do one load of wash for the entire family after one day. Genius right?!
I started matching colors more when we were packing for vacation or a long trip back home. I knew I’d have to do laundry during the stay, but sitting there sorting through laundry and only washing a few items at a time — because of colors, whites and darks made me think there had to be a better way!! So it came to me…dress all the people in the same color and do only a few loads of wash a week!! Now of course I don’t do this all the time, but for super busy weeks, or vacations it has been a game changer + saved me a ton of time!!
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with black and white. So when it comes to dressing my little people my style carries over into theirs when dressing them. So black is by far my favorite color to dress my kids in. Partly, because you can never see a stain, (and we all know kids and stains) and if your out and about and someone spills on themselves no big deal! Also black tennies for kids + dirt = amaaaazing!
So if you’ve ever looked for black clothing for your kids you know it’s not the easiest to find. One of my favorite brands for great black basics is Nununu. Nordstrom carries a bunch of their cute items!! Plus, they’ve had a great selection the past few months of a bunch of fun black and white items like this polka dot shirt for Hudson and this darling maxi dress for the girls!!

Do you know what day it is?? It’s Amazon Prime Day and I’ve rounded up SEVEN of the best deals still available!! If you’ve followed along here for awhile you know my love for the rock n’ play sleeper for our babies!! Four outta five of my babies have slept in this thing and it has been the best little portable baby bed ever!! And a game changer for spitty babies.
Also, if you know me well – black jeans — you know these bad boys are a MUST HAVE!! They are super slimming and I might have a slight obsession for anything and everything black. haha.
Okay, does anyone have the Roomba Vacuum?! I want this SOOOO bad that I’d almost pay full price for it!! I currently have it in my cart – because you know five kids and 3 meals a day this little vacuum could be my sanity savor. haha. Happy Monday everyone!! Summer is in full swing at our house and we are loving it! We are definitely loving the warm weather, all the family activities, sleeping in, and of course all the great excuses to have great food, haha! I’ve also loved all of the darling summer trends that have been out this season. Particularly all of the fun summer sandals! I love the fun bold colors, the basic easy neutrals, and I love the low block heel trend.
I got these wedges this spring and they have been my favorite buy all summer. Honestly, I wear them all the time when going out or wanting to dress up my outfit a bit. They go perfectly with everything and have the cutest look to them! If you’ve seen my Instagram, you know I’m obsessed with these sandal wedges!

Also, today is Amazon Prime Day and I’m working on another post for later today rounding up all the amazing must have sale items!! Our family finally got Amazon Prime earlier this year and have loved it! I don’t know why we didn’t sign up sooner. Amazon has a TON of my favorite fashion brands and so I’m so excited to see what deals they have today! Prime Day starts tonight at 9pm ET time. Can’t wait!
