Cardigans are the perfect fall staple + they’re the best item to pull your entire outfit together. My favorite is to pair a cardigan with a basic all black outfit to just add that little extra touch. I’m in love with this long ribbed cardigan I snagged from the Nordstrom Saleand also this lightweight cardigan for the Spring and Summer. Having a few great tops that pop with your everyday jeans can make putting together your outfits that much easier. Isn’t it true we all have a few favorite tops (besides our basic tee) that we reach for over and over again? A great classic button up is one of those tops for me. I feel like you can do so much with it – wear it tucked in, untucked, with a skirt, around your waist, tie it in a knot and so on. So today I rounded up 6 of my favorite tops I always reach for over and over.

plaid button up – need I say more then I’ve already said above? The best, most versatile top you’ll ever own.
ruffle sleeve blouse – ruffles are so fun and girly!! Plus I feel like the extra fluff makes it so you can simplify the rest of your outfit. For instance, hardly add any jewelry, simple flats and not a lot of fuss – as the ruffle detail will do the talking.
basic stripe tee – this is a must for sure!! So you all know my love for stripes + paired with a denim jacket, or sweater over the top. The stripe pattern just adds a nice touch.
blouse – a silky blouse can easily and quickly dress up any old pair of your favorite jeans!
lightweight sweater – a must have to throw on during those more casual days at home or running errands.

Today I’ve decided to finally open up about my nursing experience with all five of my babies. I know it can be such a touchy subject…as some women can’t breastfeed, some don’t want to and some babies just can’t get the hang of it and so on. But first off I want to say, there is absolutely no right or wrong way to feed your baby!! What you choose for you + your baby is the right choice for you and don’t let anyone or anything tell you otherwise.
To make a long story short I have nursed all five of my babies (from 5 months to 12 months) and all five experiences have been completely different from each other as every baby has come with their own personality and situation. I remember vividly feeling so much pressure with my first to only breastfeed. This ended up being one of the hardest challenges for me as a new mom. I hated when it came time for her to nurse. I dreaded it because the pain that came with it was so excruciating. Like I basically bled for the first 10 days. (I know too much info but I want to be so honest here.)
I ended up calling a coworker five days in to nursing asking for any help or advice and I remember her saying “make it to day 10 and that they will be a game changer!” (and she was right!) It was still a huge struggle and I so badly wanted to just give my baby a bottle at times but I felt like such a failure if I did.
A few days later I was at my moms and still struggling with the whole nursing thing + beating myself up about wanting to give her a bottle. (why do we do this to ourselves?) Right then my mom said she had had enough and was going down to the store to buy formula and she did!! We fed hunter a bottle that night and in that moment it was like all the pressure had been released — like I had gotten permission for my baby to have a bottle AND nurse and it would all be okay.
I think the amount of pressure we put on ourselves (or we hear and read from others) can be overwhelming!! After that night I learned there was no right or wrong way to feed my baby and that I needed to do what was best for US.
Fast forward a few more years and every baby has been completely different. I’ve had mastitis numerous times, and nursed right through it. I have pumped milk for one and nursed very little do to colic for another or formula fed and just flat out nursed one baby for months. And in the end alllllll of them survived and lived right through it. Haha. All and all, do what feels right for you!!
Now I don’t know about you guys, but I have always had the hardest time finding a good nursing bra!! If I liked the functionality of it, it was always uncomfortable. The comfortable ones were always so complicated when it came down to feeding my baby. It wasn’t worth the hassle!! So when ThirdLove reached out to me to try their line of nursing bras, I was really excited (and partly bitter I hadn’t heard of them sooner – haha) because it had been such a pain + struggle for me in the past!
Well now you can search NO more, because they have the BEST nursing bras!! And I honestly think you will all love them!! I really didn’t think I could love a bra this much and ThirdLove has done it for me!! My personal preference and favorite I tried is the wireless. It is so soft it feels like it is hardly there. (wire what?) They have all different color options but I love their Naked 1 the best. It’s perfect for wearing under white tees + you don’t have to worry about it showing through.
I am just finished nursing Harper a few weeks ago(cue the tears), and this bra is the one and only I’ve been wearing!! I just ordered their regular/push up bra, because now I have nothing left. Please tell me I’m not the only one?! And after this experience, I know it has to be good! Now tell me if any of you have felt this way about nursing…or was I the only one? I’d love to hear your story!!

1. Dark Wash Denim – these are the most versatile kind of jeans as they basically go with anything and everything in your closet. You can dress them down with a basic tee and sandals, or dress them up with a silky blouse + heels. You find more dark wash denim HERE.
2. White Denim – these are my most worn jeans during the summer for sure!! Just make sure you try out a few pairs because I’ve found a pair or two that are are see-through. Lots more white denim options HERE + my favorite and most worn pair just got marked down to $35!!
3. Black Denim – So I love black denim as an alternative to dark wash denim because it’s sleek and super classy! I also like that black can easily make any outfit more edgy. See a bunch more of my favs HERE!
4. Boyfriend/Distressed Denim – a pair of distressed jeans is a staple in my everyday outfits!! I’ve you’ve been around for awhile you know I wear these about every other day. haha. Plus they’re only $88 and are the perfect amount of boyfriend fit.

Ankle booties are an outfit staple of mine. I get questions all the time about which ones are the best and how to style them, so I’ve rounded up some of my favorite pairs and all are under $100!!
I’ve heard people say booties are only for fall and winter, but I completely disagree. They’re great for pairing with dresses in the summer and spring for a more dressed up look. Plus they are a life savor with you toes aren’t painted. haha!!

Guys, I LOVE this dress and it sold out on day two (which I’m honestly not surprised about!), but I found a this dress in the SALE that is super similar to this one! I hope it gets restocked soon!! No worries, we will be the first to let you know when that happens! Seriously I wore it three days in a row and it is so comfy. I also ordered this one in navy and can’t wait to add it to my summer dresses — cause you know I’m all about comfort

I’ve been dying to exercise regularly again + I just want to feel strong and toned! I think it’s been at least 3 years since I’ve been on any type of workout routine because I’ve either been pregnant or nursing. We are finally feeling a bit settled so I’m excited to get looking for a gym and start going again.
I’m still trying to figure out how to fit it into my schedule. I just can’t wake up too early… as I’m always up late working. Any suggestions are welcome! But I do have to say all the darling exercise gear/workout clothes are a huge motivator!! I was thrilled to finally buy some updated workout clothes from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I’m dying over these Nikes and its no surprise they’re pink! I’m in love with anything and everything pink – if you haven’t noticed!!
I rounded up some of the best workout items from the sale and linked everything below + a bunch of my favorites. These Nike shoes (hoping they restock them soon) run true to size and are the lightest pair of gym shoes I have ever owned. I ended up sizing up a size in this jacket (I’m wearing a small) just because it fits pretty tight and this sports bra is amazing!!! Hope your all enjoying your summer!! Love you all!!

It’s no surprise that I love a good dress!! Especially one that’s simple, doesn’t have to be layered or have a tank underneath it because it’s too low you know what I mean?! I found this dress last week at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! I love the simple hem line and the little ruffle detail is perfect. It’s super lightweight but not see-through and the perfect length!! (I’m wearing a size 4 for a little added length).
I chose these booties (that are under $100) and the perfect shade of grey to dress the whole look down a bit, since most days I’m running around with all the little people. You can see here I dressed it up for church yesterday.

I am loving the ruffle sleeve trend for a lot of for top as well as dresses and I can’t seem to get enough!
