the silent to do list...
i had heard about this years ago and then just recently remembered it.
the reason why clutter feels so heavy, overwhelming and stressful is because...the things around us send us messages CONSTANTLY, like:
tidy that
clean me
return this
organize that
you haven’t worn me yet
you haven’t used me + i cost a ton of money
and most of the time, it’s a negative message. one that makes us feel bad about ourselves. feeling like we’re unorganized, unmotivated or going crazy.
