I am loving dresses right now! I love how you can dress them up with heels or a wedge and then dress them down with flat sandals. You can also add a hat to make it a more casual beach look as well! Dresses are perfect for spring and summer and I can’t wait to live in them all summer long. I rounded up my top ten favorite dresses below. There are a few on sale + most are under $100. Now tell me your favorite thing to wear during the spring or hot coming months — cause I gotta know!! Happy shopping loves!
So a lot of you have been asking about the new swaddle sack we got for Harper. So I decided to hurry and throw up a quick update for you all. We’ve only used it for a week and so far I’m in love!!!
I have swaddle ALL my babies from day one. They all have loved to be swaddled and sleep better. I’ve never used a swaddle sack like this before, but Harper started getting out of her swaddles and waking herself up in the middle of the night. (and trust me – I am a great swaddler!) haha. My parents always die because I swaddle my babies so tight.
Anyway’s so far so good + I just found out you can strap your babe in the stroller on the go with this sack!!! Seriously GAME CHANGER for me!! Harper has been an okay sleeper during the day (better at night). But I’ve had to continually wake her up to take the kids to their activities. Every time I’ve just wanted to leave her swaddled and buckle her in so I didn’t have to wake her. NOW with this swaddle I don’t have to! She’s been staying asleep when I transfer her from the stroller and going back to sleep really quickly once I take her out.
Well I hope that helps answer a bunch or your questions. If you have any more just leave a comment below and I’ll try and answer asap. Thanks again loves!! Plus, if there is a product out there that I should know about or should be using PLEASE let me know!! We’re friends, right? I still can’t believe I hadn’t seen this swaddle sack on anyone else before — or maybe I’m living under a rock. haha.
So I went to Newport this weekend with all my girlfriends and had a blast! I brought baby, we rented out a boat and ate lunch out in the bay. I wore this nursing friendly pink button down dress (only $30) and my favorite sandals, we got pedicures and just chatted + caught up the whole day. So much fun!
It just started to hit me that we are really almost done with this crazy journey of medicine and will be big people and have a real job that we’ve been waiting for for years —but I am also so so sad to leave this wonderful group of friends (that are basically like family) that we have had here for the past five years. The support system in this group is so special and this time here in Cali will always be near and dear to my heart.
Anyways, on a happier note, here are this weeks outfits. I’m loving all the spring dresses out there right now and I finally found a few nursing friendly dresses that I can’t wait to share with you all. Hope you have a great start to your week!
Last week mine and Joe’s entire families had the opportunity to come together for little miss Harper’s blessing day, and what a blessing it was to be completely surrounded by the ones we love that weekend. Family has always been one of the number one things in our lives and we were lucky enough to have almost everyone there including all of Joe’s brothers (there are FIVE of them) in town for the occasion.
We’re so blessed to have BOTH sets of my grandparents still with us! To have them all be able to make it for that special day, made it even more memorable. Plus, the little people just adore them!!
My grandpa + grandma Hunter (this is where Hunter got her name) have always been the best example to me throughout my life of what marriage + family should be. They’re probably the most COMPASSIONATE people I know. Just typing this bring tears to my eyes. I wish you all could meet them. Within the first five minutes of chatting with them they would make you feel like the most important thing in the world!! I can’t even put into words how amazing + christlike they are. No words are good enough to describe them, although PERFECT comes to mind.
With Easter just around the corner our church challenged us to find our #PrinceOfPeace in our life. Joe is definitely mine/ours!! He brings so much peace + love into our home daily, and helps us all draw closer as a family. He’s one of the best people I know and has always been an example to me since we were kids. (that’s a whole other post in itself – as we have been friends since I was 13!)
He is the rock of our family and the glue that holds us all together. He’s always there for me and so supportive of anything I do, even when he thinks I’m crazy. He pushes me to be a better me, nudges me to be more forgiving of others, and gives me hope for the future!!
I hope wherever you are in life that you have that someone. And if you can’t think of someone at the moment just know that the savior is that person for all of us. I’d love for you to visit mormon.org to learn more about what we believe + about how you can feel more peace over all. I honestly am so grateful for you all and your continued support here in this space!!
I am loving this warmer weather and we are so ready for summer over here. I’m dying over all the fun, bright colors for spring and I am especially loving these spring dresses, like this fun yellow embroidered dress (that’s now on SALE 50% off)!! I’m sure you’ve seen me wear it a few times. They’re also the perfect dresses for Easter too!
I haven’t been able to find a bunch of nursing friendly dresses yet, so basically I’ve been wearing this one when I know I have a few hours before Harper needs to eat and I know I won’t have to feed her on the go. I’ve also worn this one on date night in St. George. I’ve been searching and working on a post of nursing friendly + cute dresses and will share it as soon as I find more then one dress, haha!
I rounded up some more of my favorite spring dresses below! A lot of them have pockets too, which is a definite game changer for me as you all know. Also ANTHROPOLOGIE has a ton of daring dresses that are on such a good SALE so check those out too.
Okay friends, the Owlet has been the biggest game changer for me personally when it comes to sleeping + my babies. Today they came out the a NEW Owlet 2 and it’s even better!! It’s a tiny little sock that tracks your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels. It’s also designed to notify you if your baby’s levels fall out of the preset zones. You can read more in depth why I love this little sock HERE. It honestly has helped my anxiety at night + it calms my nerves so I don’t have to worry about baby and I actually sleep during those few hours in between feedings.
If your anything like me and worry about your baby when they sleep this would be the one thing I would invest in!! Let me know if there is anyone else that worries at night or can’t sleep — please tell me I’m not the only one?!

I want to order number FIVE for our new home and I am loving number FOUR for the girls room. Hope you all are having a fabulous day + thanks for stopping by!!
Yesterday was our last week of spring break. I’ve loved having the kids home and sleeping in this past week was so nice!! I’m not sure we are ready for today. We are currently in the middle of the crazy sports season for the littles and I swear I’ve been going to ball game after ball game lately, so I’m sure I’ll be wearing basics from here on out! haha!
We’ve also been getting ready to put our house up for sale — which will be happening within the next week or two! So crazy! I can’t believe that time is actually here!! If you know of anyone looking for a house in SoCal send them our way!!
I’ve gathered some of my favorite outfits from this last week, along with all the links below. Hope you all have a wonderful week + I’ll be posting a lot of fun blog posts this week so be sure to check them out!
I am absolutely loving the embroidered trend right now!! It’s pretty hot this season as we are seeing it on dresses, jackets, jeans, tops and even shoes (these ones are only $38)!! I really wasn’t sure about it until I found this amazing yellow dress and then it was all over. I love all the details and colors the embroidery adds!
Now you might ask, “How do I wear this trend?” Well that’s the easiest part…there is so much going on with all the embroidery that everything else you pair with an embroidered item can be super simple + plain. For example: if you’ve got some embroidered jeans then a plain white tee is perfect, because you have so much detail + color below. Same for an embroidered jacket keep your bottom super simple with a one colored skirt or your basic jeans. Easy peasy!!.
Below are some of my favorite embroidered pieces! Really it’s such a fun piece to add to your wardrobe, and basically can go with all your neutrals and basic items. Tell me if you are loving or hating the embroidered trend right now. And what are some of your favorite item?!
Today is the ultimate giveaway for expecting parents!! Have you seen the or read about the Snoo?! Well I’m going to tell you my favorite things about it + why it’s pretty awesome + we are giving TWO away!!
I love the modern design – and I haven’t been able to find this style anywhere + it matches the style of our new home we are building.
If you’ve read the book Happiest Baby on the Block you know all about the ‘5 S’s’. (I loved this book for my babies) The Snoo basically does it all!! Swishes, rocks, jiggles and swings + sways your baby to sleep.
Also, I your read my Six Must Have Sleep items for Baby you know my little people sleep with a sound machine and it already has one built in!! This is my big kids favorite part – and well that all this happens at the simple push of a button. Love it!
The SNOO retails for $1,160!!! And we are giving away TWO!!
One of my favorite diaper bag companies, Petunia Pickle Bottom, is having an awesome outlet SALE that’s going on now! They have new products as well as some older limited edition products included in the sale that will sale out fast + three of my most used diaper bags are included!!
If you’ve followed along with me the last few years, you’ve known that I love my Petunia Pickle Bottom bags for my babies. I can’t begin to tell you how much I love them! They clean up so easily, you can literally wipe anything off of them and it has never stained the bags. I love, love, LOVE all of the pockets and dividers inside (an OCD moms every dream! haha!!) I also love that they can hook on to your stroller so easily too.
I have the Downtown Tote in “Bedford Avenue Stop” + “Breakfast in Berkshire” and absolutely love them! I also love the Altogether Tote too! So run before every goes – because this is one of their biggest sales of the year!! Happy shopping loves!
Hey friends!! I hope you all had a great weekend with your people. We are here in Utah for spring break + we blessed baby Harper at my parents house on Sunday. I also made a 48 hour trip up to Salt Lake City to check up on our building process, finally meet our builder in person and meet with a ton of subs. We are already trying to pick stuff out and it is crazy.
So my FAVORITE distressed jeans are finally back in stock!! I bought them last year and finally “semi” fit back into them. The sizes are going fast so if you’ve been looking for a pair snag these ones. I can’t wait to share Harpers blessing pictures — because we found the dress I was blessed in as a baby and Harper ended up wearing the same dress!! I was dying. Thanks for always stopping by + for all your support!! Love ya!!
