I figured it was time for another life update as summer break has come to an end!

The kids start school today, and I am so sad about it. I absolutely love Summer and am not ready for it to be over!

OUR LIFE UPDATE

: HOUSE

We always get asked when the house will be done, and we are hoping for next spring! It’s been fun and stressful to completely redesign the whole inside of my house. But after 4 years, my style has definitely changed.It’s been a lot of research and trying different things, but it makes me excited to see it all come together.

: JOE

I don’t typically include Joe in these updates, but he accepted an offer to help coach Dixie High’s baseball team. This is something he’s always wanted to do, and he’s super excited to be able to help coach Hudson for his last 2 years. So between me coaching cheer and him coaching baseball, we’ll basically be living at the high school!

: HUNTER

Hunter is doing so well in the mission field! She has a great companion and gets to see her cousin every 6 weeks. She just hit her 6-month mark and will be coming home next August! I can’t believe how fast it’s going.

: HUDSON

Hudson made his final decision and decided not to play football and instead focus on baseball. He’s got a whole program lined up for the next 4 months to help him prepare physically for baseball, and we’re really excited to see his growth. : HAYDEN

Hayden will be cheering at her first high school football game this Friday, and we can hardly wait to watch her! She is loving both high school and All-Star cheer and is very, very busy with both. She’s excited to start 9th grade and will only go to school every other day.

: HOUSTON

Houston just turned 11, and I can hardly believe this is his last year of elementary school. I can barely talk about it without crying. He is going to play flag football this year since he missed out last year after he broke his pinky. He couldn’t be more stoked about it!

: HARPER

Harper is taking a break from cheer this year, and it has honestly been so nice to have my buddy back. She and I do tumbling weekly with each other, and I love that time with her. After working for 2 years, she is finally throwing her back handspring by herself and has conquered her fear!! She is now throwing tucks on the tramp! She’s decided to try soccer this year and maybe softball too, so this will be a year of new things for her.

All in all, life is busy but full of so many fun things. We’re just trying to soak in this new stage of life and enjoy every moment! Hope everyone has the BEST weekend!
