Four closet staples every women needs…are just that a STAPLE or a basic piece you can dress up or down through all the seasons. These staples most women will spend a bit more money on because they are timeless + can last you years! But if you find a good steal like this black leather jacket for under $100 by all means snag it!! So here we go.

• black leather jacket: this is a must have and now is the time to grab one because most stores have all their coats and jackets on sale! Trust me I found the most fabulous leather jacket a few years back in the dead of summer and didn’t buy it, because it was 100 degrees outside. (insert kicking myself) Anyway, you can wear this jacket with anything…joggers, jeans, a dress you name it! It’s just that extra piece to dress up your everyday t-shirt and jeans.
• basic white tee: everyone needs a few these! You all know when you find a good one that’t not see-through, washes well, is long enough and the neckline doesn’t out you wanna buy three!!
• dark jeans: a great pair of dark jeans (that fit your body well) is a great foundation for basically any outfit!! This is usually where I will spend more money. I love these jeans because they stretch and for me that is huge. I like to wear my jeans at least 4 times before I even wash them. Plus, less washing makes them last longer and always turn your jeans inside out so they won’t fade.
• simple neutral heel: these grey suede heels are one of my most worn + favorite pairs. Because the heel is lower I feel like I can wear them on more occasions and for longer + they go with everything!

So last week the littlest dude turned 8 months (insert mama tears here) to get my mind off the subject of him getting older I decided to pack up the little people, call some friends and go celebrate with donuts! Cause you know donuts make everything better! Ha. I’m not sure why this time around it’s so hard for me to hit another milestone with Houston. Maybe because he’s my last? Anyone else feel like this? Or is it just me?!

Anyways, I am so excited to share with you guys this amazing little black dress I found!! Wait for it…it works for ALL body types!! Yes it does!! It’s not to tight, but not too baggy and lose so it shows that you have some shape. It’s light weight, but not see-through and it’s long enough to bend over and not let anything hang out (if you know what I mean) haha. I love the neck line because it doesn’t sag down when I’m holding the baby or when any of the littles are pulling on me for something. Plus, did I mention it’s under $90?! I honestly ordered about 6 black dresses (from my favorite store Nordstrom) to find this gem!! I wanted a dress that I could run around with the little people and dress up with heels and some nice jewelry for date night, and this baby is it!! Seriously, I love when my friends find that great staple piece and tell you about it…so of course I had to share with all you friends!! Hope you have a fabulous Thursday!! Happy Friday friends!! It is warming up here in Southern California and we are so ready for spring + our little people’s spring break next week!!  We still aren’t sure what we are going to do, but we’re excited for a nice little break from school work. So I been on the hunt for the perfect tunic for Spring and I finally found it at Nordstrom!! I just love that store + the free shipping and returns are amazing!! Anyway, I thought I would share my three essential items you need for Spring!! I honestly can’t live without these + they are also great for your vacations or just the beach or pool!

• Tunic Dress: I am in love with this tunic dress (for only $68)!! I love that you can dress it up or down!! It’s a little bit nicer then your everyday cover-up for the pool, which I like because I necessarily don’t want to be wearing the same thing as the 17 year next to us. Haha. But I love that you can add a pair of heels + a nice bag (my favorite pink purse is 40% off) and this dress can definitely be worn out for date night!!
• Big Tote: If you have little people or are traveling alone you know the difference a big organized tote makes in your life!! I love this one because it’s big enough for the pool or beach but it doesn’t look like a massive beach bag so I can use it for my everyday to day errands as well + this bright citrus color is just screaming spring!!
• Classy Flip Flops: These beauties are a must!! I love that they don’t look cheap and you could wear them out at night with some white jeans but they also aren’t to dressy that you can wear them to the pool or beach.

I  just love items that are so versatile and can be worn for multiply occasions…pool, beach, date night, or even running errands with your littles. Plus when your on vacation or traveling these pieces are always great because it means packing less items and makes picking out outfits so simple!!

Hey Friends!! So after I posted about the new distressed denim jeans I found on my Instagram last night…I thought I’d round up my TOP FIVE BEST destroyed denim since I was getting ton more questions. If you’ve followed along here for awhile you know my love to distressed denim + how much I wear the pairs I love. So below are my top five + a few more great picks!!

Top Left : RES Denim is a great brand and these are the pair I posted on Instagram + the newest ones I found I love. The distressing is perfect. Here are all the stores that have any sizes still available … HERE + HERE + HERE + HERE

Top Right : These jeans have a lot less distressing then the others + the stretch in these are amazing!! The brand is BlankNYC. The prices are pretty great as most jeans are UNDER $100!! Which I think is great! THESE jeans are only $88.

Center : These jeans are Madewell high rise…love!! They only have distressing at the knees, which are pretty much holes. My sweet friend Elle with Solly Baby turned me on to Madewell Jeans.

Bottom Left : Black distressed… are a must have!! I feel like they are just like black leggings…but honestly THESE ones are super comfortable and super stretchy!! (more then I usually spend on jeans but a great pair of black jeans is life changing)  I’ve worn them at least 5 times before even washing because they hold their shape that good. THIS pair is only $54 + heres another great pair Joe Jeans on SALE HERE!!

Bottom Middle : Okay, these BLANKNYC have been a favorite for a long time!! I had to put a white fabric patch in the upper top distressed part but it was so worth it + for only $88 I have defiantly got my use out of them!!
