We had so much fun back to school shopping in Newport with my mom + Hunter this year. I think we’ll have to make it a tradition from here on out! Hunter loved the one-on-one time with her nana + myself, and the other two opted out — as I’m sure trying on clothes didn’t seem like the most fun event.
So, I was already having a hard time picturing my three oldest ALL going to elementary school this year. Then after my sweet friend took these pictures, I completely lost it!! Really, I can’t believe Hayden (my almost 5 year old) will be joining the older two. I love having my little people home with me — all the time. I like knowing exactly what they’re doing + all the help they are with the baby, and this is another signed/step that they’re growing up. Which is really hard for me to swallow.
On a lighter note, I always buy staple pieces for my little people that can be mixed and matched with multiple outfits. By doing this, you get the best bang for your buck because you can pair these staple pieces with so many different items and make so many different outfits with them! I absolutely love these booties + white top we got for Hunter! They go with everything! The top is light enough to wear now in the heat and both will be perfect for fall.
I love shopping at Nordstrom because I can buy double sizes (if I’m not sure something will fit right) and because of their amazing return policy + free shipping and returns it makes shopping for your little so much easier!!
Also, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost over!! I got a bunch of the kids clothes from the sale and all prices go back up this Sunday at midnight. So make sure to get all your shopping done before then!! You can see some of my other Nordstrom SALE posts here + here…and I rounded up some of the best kids items still available from the sale below!
