Do you take daily vitamins and supplements? I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty terrible at this until about the last 4 years or so when I really started to put more of a focus on healthy living and taking care of my body. I started really simple with a just a generic multivitamin. Over the years I have slowly added in beneficial things as I’ve done my research. Since I get asked a lot what I take and why, today I thought I would walk you through kind of a run through of my vitamins and supplements routine.
: MODERE TRIM OR COLLAGEN
I always start my day off with my collagen. Out of everything on this list of vitamins and supplements I will share, this is the one I have noticed the BIGGEST difference in so many different ways. If you are unfamiliar with collagen, I share all about it in this post, but to summarize, it is the most abundant protein in your body. It actually makes up about 1/3 of your protein composition. It is also a major building block for bones, skin, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Basically the glue that holds your body together! It helps keep your skins structure and firmness and even plays a part in helping your blood clot. As you age, your body starts producing less and less collagen, (around age 28 you no longer make it) so you need to replace that with a supplement.
Over the years I have tried my fair share of collagen. I never really saw any noteworthy results until I tried this liquid collagen! Liquid collagen is 20 times stronger and your body absorbs it 90% better.
The daily dose is 1 tablespoon in the morning, and one at night. You can choose to do the same type for both, or mix and match. Right now I am taking the TRIM in the morning. TRIM inhibits fat storage, improves muscle tone and helps to restore youthful skin. You can shop some of my favorites with a discount here.
: MODERE AXIS TREBIOTIC
I started taking this Trebiotic a few months ago after I got sick of juicing every morning. It honestly has mad the biggest difference in my GUT HEALTH + helping me go to the bathroom regularly. It’s the only pre-, pro, and post-biotic all in one. An absolute gut health powerhouse!! It helps supports immune function, supports gut barrier integritY and so much more. It’s also non- GMO, gluten free, sugar free, and vegetarian.
Next up I take my multivitamins. The biggest thing I can tell you on this one is NOT ALL MULTIVITAMINS ARE CREATED EQUAL!!! I took random multivitamins for years never really noticing a change. And then I found out about Ritual. Ritual is a multivitamin for women that is packed full of the 9 essential nutrients your body needs and no extra garbage. I love that you can read and understand exactly what you are putting in your body, and the benefits that come with each. If you want to try them you can use this link to save on your first 3 months.
: ELECTROLYTE SUPPLEMENT
While I am working out and post workout, I drink my water with my electrolyte supplement. Not only is it delicious, it also is packed full of benefits to support your body during activity. It helps maintain your daily hydration, immune support, mood, and energy. I like to call it the good for you version of what all the sports drinks we grew up with say they offer. My kids love to drink it too during their sports and it keeps them hydrated.
: CLEAN SIMPLE EATS PROTEIN
Next on the list of vitamins and supplements is my clean simple eats protein. If you have been around here for a while you know I don’t miss a day of my Clean Simple Eats Protein shake. It is so delicious. And on top of that it is packed with protein to keep me full and energized longer. I have tried many different proteins and they all taste terrible. But that is not the case with CSE. Every single flavor I have tried tastes just as good as the yummy flavors sound (think peanut butter cup, cheesecake, maple donut). One serving is 2o grams of protein too!! You can click here and use code KAILEEWRIGHT to save!
I also take the Clean Simple Eats Greens. I’m not going to lie, they are nasty, but to me, so are vegetables, so the benefits are worth it. Haha! I like to get this one over with and just take it as a quick shot instead of mixing it into a bigger drink.
: MODERE DIGESTIVE PILLS
Last but not least in the vitamins and supplements roundup is something I recently added and has been a major game changer. I have shared on here a few times that I have digestive issues. Going to the bathroom sometimes isn’t as regular as it should be (TMI) which can lead to stomach aches. I had heard so many good things about these digestive pills that I had to try them and they were worth it!! For me, I usually take one with my lunch and it works its magic to calm your stomach and help things work through your system. I love that it doesn’t have any crazy ingredients, and it isn’t something I am having to take with ever single meal!
. . .
I think that sums up my vitamins and supplements routine, and I hope it is helpful. Remember what works for me may not work for everyone else. If you have any questions please reach out!
