I’m always looking for pieces that are timeless and that will last through the trends. Those items usually can be staples in your wardrobe for years + I don’t mind spending a little extra for those pieces — as I feel in the end you end up saving money. These three black staple pieces are not going out of style anytime soon and will last you for a long time!
- Black Leather Jacket: this is a must have for every closet. I passed up a real leather jacket (that was on sale) a few years back and I’m still kicking myself. The reason I didn’t buy it, was because summer had just begun. Now is the time to grab one before fall and winter hit! This jacket is a perfect staple for fall because you can wear it with anything… jeans, leggings, joggers, a dress, you name it! It’s just adds that little extra something to dress up your everyday t-shirt and jeans without even trying.

- Black Denim: everyone needs a good pair of black denim jeans!! You know how much you wear (or want to wear your basic black leggings) well if you get a good comfortable pair of black denim – they honestly become those leggings/jeans you always reach for. They are such a great staple to your closet + help break up your usual blue denim look.

- Black Booties: you can never go wrong with a classic black bootie (in my opinion) and I am loving these black booties and can’t wait to wear them in the fall. I love to pair my booties with dresses to dress down the look a bit + they’re a great staple piece to help you transition your summer wardrobe into fall and winter and your winter wear into spring!! (see…money saved) I bought these ones in brown, but the black pair….ahhh. Love.
