Our Mexico Recap

my swimsuit + hat + shoes || harper’s swim shirt

We had the BEST time in Cancun with my family last week! Besides my stent pain from kidney stone surgery, the trip was amazing! The kids were in heaven all week. I’ve gotten so many questions about where we stayed, what we did, if we felt safe, etc, so I wanted to write up a blog post with all my thoughts and recommendations for Cancun! (Also, if you missed my kidney stone update, I’ll link that blog post here.)

OUR TRIP DETAILS

our luggage

: WHERE WE STAYED

We stayed at the Grand Moon Palace in Cancun! It’s an all-inclusive resort which made everything easy. If you’re staying at any of the other Palace resorts, make sure you book the Grand Moon Palace! It’s the cleanest, nicest, + newest. We absolutely loved it. There is SO much for the kids to do, which I’ll share below under “what we did.”

I got so many questions asking if we felt safe. We felt completely safe the whole time we were in Mexico. Right from the airport, we took the hotel shuttle straight to the resort. It wasn’t an extra fee and it was so seamless. We also took the shuttle back to the airport when we were leaving. There was no point during our trip where we felt unsafe!

my hat + glasses + swimsuit + shorts

Our room situation was great! We had 2 adjoining rooms- Joe and I were in one room + we always left the door open to the kids room. Their room had 2 queen beds and a pull-out twin mattress! The rooms were nice + clean. The kids loved the huge jacuzzi bath tubs too!

The transportation throughout the whole resort was so easy. We would just walk outside our room and golf carts would take us wherever we needed to go

: WHAT WE ATE

We ate by the pool everyday for lunch! The kids loved ordering room service for breakfast. They had some cute ice cream parlors/cafes with waffles and crepes that everyone loved. Since it was all inclusive, I feel like the food wasn’t the best. And since we had all the kids with us, the adults didn’t really get to try the Lebanese or Indian restaurants because we knew the kids wouldn’t like it.

The kids said it was their absolute favorite trip and I think the main reason why is because there was no limit on treats or drinks! I’m not kidding, Hudson had 8-10 strawberry daaqruirs a day. Even Houston was going up to the bar and ordering his own drink! We probably got ice cream 5 times a day too, haha! The kids were in heaven!

my hat + sunglasses + swim top + shoes || joe’s hat

I had a lot of people ask if any of us got sick. Out of 15 people, nobody got sick!! All our drinking water was from water bottles.

My only complaint was that their times were weird. The restaurants weren’t all open 7 days a week. One was MWF and only a few were open on Saturday. All other all-inclusive resorts I’ve been to aren’t like that, so that was the only annoying thing.

my swimsuit + glasses || harper’s shirt + flip flops

: WHAT WE DID

We literally never left the resort because there was so much to do!! The resort had a little water park, a big water park, slides, tube slides, a splash pad, mat slides, a wave machine (2 people can be on it at the same time). There was also a huge indoor play area with AC! It had stuff for all ages of kids….painting, video games, mini golf, etc. TONS to do! There were also bikes that the kids rode around. My boys loved the outside mini golf course + arcade. All of this was included in the resort fee!

The only thing that wasn’t included in the price was bowling. We actually sat through a 2 hour meeting at the hotel when we got there and they gave us a $300 credit to use so we used that to go bowling and get massages!

When you stay at Grand Moon Palace hotel, you can go to the other ones so we took a 20 min bus ride to another palace hotel because they had a better beach. But the water was so bad and not safe for swimming, so we literally paid for a taxi ride to go back. That was the only time we left our resort, but it’s good to know that you can enjoy any palace resort.

Hope that answers everybody’s questions! If you’re going to Cancun, I would highly recommend the Grand Moon Palace!!

Kidney Stones

I first want to start with a huge THANK YOU for everyone who has checked in + sent up prayers! It means so much to me and I am grateful for each and every one of you. I wanted to share my experience from the past week and give a little update. Plus I wanted to write something down that people could refer back to if they are every struggling with kidney stones or debating on surgery.

MY KIDNEY STONE EXPERIENCE

: MY HISTORY WITH KIDNEY STONES

The first time I had kidney stones was 7 years ago when I was pregnant with Harper. I woke up early that morning with back/side pain. I had no idea what was going on. I knew I wasn’t going into labor, but my body immediately started vomiting due to the severe pain. I was worried about the baby so we went to the emergency room. At the hospital and they put me on morphine to control the pain (honestly, my pain tolerance is pretty good) and told me it was a kidney stone and I’d pass it in a few days. But I didn’t pass it until 14 DAYS LATER!! I don’t remember why we never got the stone tested, but I regret it now. Not knowing the cause of them. So there’s a little backstory.

: MY RECENT EXPERIENCE

Flash forward to now… I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago, so I haven’t had cramps since then. But the past 6 weeks I’ve been cramping. I still have my ovaries, but not my uterus which is what usually causes cramps. I’ve also been having bad back pains too and just thought I pulled something. I felt like garbage and honestly just accepted the pain, thinking it was normal. Well, last Sunday I started getting really bad cramps at church so I decided to walk home (we live right across the street) and my back pain immediately set in and I couldn’t walk. I literally crawled to my phone and called Joe. He took me to the emergency room, they did an CT scan and found 3 kidney stones…. a 6mm, 4mm, and a 1mm. Because we were leaving the country in five days and the stone I was trying to pass was 6mm, the urologist was highly recommending surgery. They typically do surgery for any kidney stone over 5mm because it’s too big for your body to pass.

They gave me medication to help my body pass the stone on my own (which was only an 40% chance) but I wanted to try this route so they sent me home. I waited a few days and hadn’t passed it yet. We were preparing to leave for Mexico Friday night, so I was hoping to pass it on my own without surgery. I really didn’t want to do surgery; I even called the doctor a hour before and told him I wasn’t doing it. Right after Joe called some doctor buddies up North and they just told us to do it. They said it wasn’t worth the risk to possibly pass the stone in Mexico, be in pain, or even be life flighted home. They all recommended that I do it so I did.

After the surgery Wednesday, I felt worse than I ever had!!! It was the most pain I’d been in. Because they were able to go up into my kidney and retrieve all three stones + leave a stent. If you don’t know what a stent is, it’s a tube like object that connects to your kidney and comes out your urethra. They say that 3 out of 5 people are fine pain-wise with the stent, but 2 out of 5 aren’t. So I was paranoid about how it would affect me. When I got home, my body went crazy. I was shaking uncontrollably from the anesthesia (which is a common side effect) and none of my pain meds were kicking in. I could tell Joe was getting a little worried so that’s when I knew something was wrong. About an hour later, everything kicked in and I felt better.

: OUR DECISION TO GO TO MEXICO

Joe and I were still debating whether or not we should go to Mexico. My parents had offered to take the kids and Joe meet up later but that wasn’t sitting well with us. This was a trip we had planned with my whole family over a year ago and family time is the absolute most important thing to us.

I asked Joe to give me a healing blessing Friday morning. Him and his dad gave me a beautiful blessing and ever since then, my pain has been bearable. Which I have been so grateful for. We literally waited till the last minute to make a decision and ultimately decided to come to Mexico since we had enough meds to get me through the week if things continued as they did. The meds definitely have help, but they do have big side effects on my body. Hence why I avoid taking them at all costs. I’m 6 days out of surgery and I FINALLY feel like I’m not dying. Joe was actually going to pull my stent out this morning –  because I just can’t handle it anymore, but he couldn’t find the string! So when we get back, I have to have surgery to get it taken out.

Honestly, I would recommend waiting as LONG as you can before doing surgery and try to have you body pass the stone naturally. I have been in constant pain and my body hasn’t reacting well to the stent. I feel okay when I’m staying up on meds, but again the side effects (for me personally) are awful. I’ve had one girlfriend say that her kidney stone surgery went totally fine and another girlfriend who said her stent pain was unbearable!! Everyone’s experience totally different, and this is just mine.

. . .

I wish I would’ve been able to read + learn about other people’s experiences before getting the surgery, so I hope this blog post helps somebody!

Teen Takeover: What I’ve Ordered for Summer

dress + shoes

hey guys it’s hunter with another teen takeover! i’m loving the warmer weather lately and have been doing some online shopping for summer so i thought it would be fun to share all the items i’ve ordered recently and share why i like them!

MY SUMMER PICKS

tube top + striped tank + red tank + dark cargo shorts + brown dress + denim shorts + sandals + blue swim top + blue swim bottoms + graphic tee + floral swim top + yellow swim bottoms + cargo shorts

: TOPS

i’ll start with tops! of course i ordered an oversized graphic tee from urban! they are so easy for the lake and summer to just throw on over your swimsuit. i also ordered 2 crop tanks that are so fun + easy for summer (striped tank + red tank), they’re not booby or anything so I’m excited about those. one last urban shirt i ordered is this black tube top. it’s fun as a cover up or to wear with high waisted shorts!

: SWIMSUITS

i picked out these swimsuits because my friends love going to the lake to just tan all day. it’s a big thing in st. george right now to just bring snacks and drinks to lake and tan. all of us girls wear our tanning swimsuits so that’s why i’m obsessed with the strapless tops and tie bottoms right now! i ordered a blue top, blue bottoms, a floral top, and yellow bottoms! all from target and under $25.

link to shirt

: BOTTOMS

i LOVE these shorts from pac sun because they’re a little longer. the longer length is trendy right now so i’m excited about them. and they don’t show your butt! cargo shorts are a huge thing right now too, so I ordered a dark pair and a light pair. they aren’t super high waisted but they are just easy to slip on and wear with anything. they’ll be super cute for summer.

: SHOES

i bought these doc marten sandals because i think they’re so cute! you can wear them with literally anything, they’re the perfect summer sandal.

. . .

that’s all i have for today! what should my next topic be?

April Amazon Buys

Can you believe it’s May already? This is such a fun, yet busy, time of year and I’m just enjoying every second of it! Last month’s Amazon orders were random (as always). I ordered some new cleats for Hudson, a dress for our Mexico trip, my favorite hair cream, and more! Keep scrolling for details on all these items!

APRIL AMAZON BUYS

cleats + sunglasses + clock + dress + hair cream + girl’s dress + grandma book + tank top + lip mask + sweater set + hair ties + labels + book

: CLEATS

Ordered these Under Armour cleats for Hudson for football! He really likes them, they’ve been holding up well. He didn’t want anything that was too bright or would stand out, so he found these and he loves the all white.

: SUNGLASSES

Houston wanted some sunglasses for his baseball games so he picked these ones out! Under $15 and really fun if you have a little one playing baseball!

: ALARM CLOCK

I bought this clock for clock for Hunter to help her wake up in the morning! I loved the modern look of it. Only $11.99 too!

dress + hat

: DRESS

I got this dress for our Mexico trip and I’m obsessed! I love that it doesn’t have a slit or anything. It’s the perfect length and runs true to size (wearing a small)! Only $33.99 and comes in a ton of other fun patterns!

: HAIR CREAM

I had to order another bottle of this hair cream because I ran out! BOTH Hudson + I use it and love it. It doesn’t leave your hair crispy or gel-like, it really just enhances your natural curls. You don’t even have to blow-dry or diffuse your hair – just put it in your hair and go!

dress + shoes

: GIRL’S DRESS

Ordered this blue dress for Harper! It’s darling and fits true to size! Comes in other colors and is under $20!

: GRANDMA GIFT BOOK

This “What I Love About Grandma” book is SO cute! We ordered it for the kids to fill out. It’s such a simple + easy mother’s day gift idea that is so fun to personalize and have as a keepsake. Your kids get to go through it + fill it out! Only $10 too!

: WORKOUT TANK

I bought this workout tank to try because I saw my friend share about it! The back is so fun and I really like how it fits. Fits true to size and is under $25!

: LIP MASK

Hunter + I love this lip mask! We put it on before bed and wake up with hydrated lips!!

: SWEATER SET

I finally ordered the Freya set DUPE!! The Free People one is $128, but the Amazon dupe is only $44.99! The dupe top is very similar to the Free People set in fabric + weight. The color is more of a true black as opposed to the Free People one. The Free People pants are more of a cotton fabric and the amazon ones are more of a dress pant. The pants are a lot shorter and tighter too. I personally like the Free People set better. The dupe is good, but it’s a completely different pant material.

: GIMME HAIR TIES

These Gimme hair ties are AMAZING! They hold Hayden’s horsehair really well. She usually has to use 4 normal hair ties, but she only has to use one Gimme hair tie so we love how durable these Gimme ones are.

: LABELS

I have these labels ALL over my house! They are just like the Crate and Barrel ones but half the price. I ordered the silver metal clips, they come with 8 black and 8 white inserts and a black and white pen! Totally helps me with my organization. Under $!5 too!

: NEVER NEVER BOOK

Hunter ordered this book! Sounds like she’s enjoying it so far.

Life Update

SO happy to have joe home

Time for another life update! You guys have been so sweet to check in on me and the kids. The truth is, we are genuinely so happy + content. I cry all the time because of how grateful I am! St. George has been so good to us. We’re so happy to be here. The weather has been so good lately too! There’s so much going on, that I’m starting to do monthly updates for you guys! Today I’m giving an update on house plans, kids’ sports, and how happy we are to finally have Joe HOME!

OUR LIFE UPDATE

hayden won her first track meet || link to her outfit

: JOE IS HOME…FOR GOOD!!

If you didn’t know, the kids + I moved down to St. George in January while Joe stayed up north to finish work. He had his LAST day up north last week and finally moved down to St. George with us for good!!!! We are beyond ecstatic! The kids and I honestly did great with it until the last 2 weeks…those were definitely hard, but we are just so grateful to finally be united!! He starts his new job at the St. George hospital next month so he’s excited about that.

: HOUSE PLANS

We finished our house plans on Friday and we are so thrilled! There were some bumps in the road, but I feel like that always happens + then it turns outs even better than we imagined. So I’m excited to see how everything turns out. The house plans are now in engineering which can take 4-6 weeks and then we go to the city for permits. If everything stays on schedule, we’re hoping to break ground in June!!!

hudson’s football game

: KIDS

The kids are busy with spring sports right now! Harper is in gymnastics and soccer, and she is thriving! It’s the funnest thing to watch her.

Houston had his first couple baseball games and he couldn’t stop smiling! Every time he ran into the dugout, he would tell me how much fun he was having! All the kids die to go watch Houston + Harper’s games. Not everyone likes to watch the bigger kids’ games, but everyone just LOVES going to Harper’s soccer games + Houston’s baseball games because it’s just so cute and entertaining.

Hayden has cheer try outs in 2 weeks, so she’s really excited about that! She’s been on hold because we’ve been wanting to see what cheer team she makes and then from there we’ll sign her up for gymnastics.

similar jacket + boots

Hunter is currently on a club soccer team AND also practices with the high school team, so she’s been doing double duty! She is still adjusting so bravely and optimistic with the move, if you missed her blog post about her feelings about the move and how everything is going for her, I’ll link that here.

Hudson started football!  He had his first game last Saturday and he’s thriving! The coach and a couple parents came up to me afterwards and told me how much they want him on the team! He got a concussion when he was 8 from football, so after that I told him that I was against him playing football again…but I caved when we got down here. He is just so happy to be playing! It’s not tackle football, it’s 2 hand touch so that makes me feel a little better. He’s still playing baseball with his team up north, but hopefully we’ll be transitioning him to a St. George team soon.

: MY WORKOUT ROUTINE

I shared last week that I was finally going to start prioritizing my health and being better about working out. I shared some stories when I had was on the treadmill and everyone was asking about my workout routine, and the answer is that I don’t honestly know. I’m just getting started again, but I’m excited to share more about my journey to getting more consistent. You guys went wild over my workout top – it’s been my favorite for YEARS. I’ll link it here!

Travel Guide: St. George

my hat + jacket  || hunter’s top + pants + shoes || girls’ nike shirts

Since we’ve moved to St. George, I’ve gotten a ton of requests and DM’s asking about what to do/eat in St. George! Since Joe and I both grew up here, we’re more old school with our recommendations, but we’ve got a lot of newer recommendations from friends + family!

OUR ST. GEORGE TRAVEL GUIDE

hunter’s similar top + jeans + boots || my jacket + jeans + converse

: FOOD

St. George has the yummiest restaurants! Listed all our favorites – new and old!

  • Paula’s – the BEST Mexican food. My grandpa’s best friend from college owned it, so it’s always been a family favorite.
  • The Pasta Factory – it’s always been our go-to spot for big family get togethers. They have the best salad bar, pizza, and pasta. And their garlic bread twists are out of this world!
  • Larsen’s Frost Top Drive-In – this is the cutest family-owned drive-in. It opened in 1965 and is the best diner for families. Yummiest ice cream too!!
  • Bear Paw Cafe – if you’re a breakfast fan, you’ll love Bear Paw! This is my dad’s favorite place to eat because they have 10 different kinds of waffles + french toast alone!
  • First Watch – is another great breakfast/brunch cafe. They have the yummiest juices!
  • The Sugar Cookie – by far the best sugar cookies out there….even better than Swig! Love that it’s a family-owned business too.
  • Mixed Greens – is phenomenal! Their homemade chocolate chip cookies are to die for. They have the yummiest acai + rice bowls. Family owned business in a gas station.
  • Irmita’s – is a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, but Joe absolutely loves their food!
  • Xetava – is our favorite place to eat. Their food is fresh and delicious. It’s a bit of a drive, but worth it. They’ve got coffee, drinks, fun desserts, and wine if that’s your thing.

: FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES

St. George is FULL of fun things to do. Whether you’re going with your girlfriends, family, or your spouse, there are so many fun options!

  • Tonaquint Park – by far our favorite spot in St. George. There is a huge open area that is great for running around + playing soccer! Such a fun playground for the kids too!
  • Town Square Splash Pad – we go here to cool off! It’s not your average splash pad, it has fountains, sprays, and even a lazy river right down the middle! It’s only a few inches deep, but so fun for the little kids.
  • Fiesta Fun – my kids go there with their friends and absolutely love it! They have laser tag, bowling, an arcade, food, and more!
  • Golfing – any golf course in St. George is beautiful! That’s always what Joe and the guys want to do. Joe’s favorite is the Sand Hollow course.
  • Hiking – our family loves to hike the Dixie rock. When we were kids, they didn’t have parking or anything up there. But there’s parking up there now and fun hikes to do with the family!
  • Laser Mania – my dad always takes the kids to do this! Such a fun laser tag place!
  • Big Shots – recently opened up on St. George! It’s just like Top Golf. It’s such a fun spot for families! My boys absolutely love it.
  • Lakes- we’re total lake people so we love going to Quail lake and Sand Hollow! Sand Hollow has the cliff jumping that everyone loves.  We love hiring Tanner with Tanner Wake Boat Rentals to take us out on the boat every summer! He’s the best! I also grew up going to Gunlock reservoir which is really fun too!
  • Children’s Museum – this is right next to the town square splash pad. It has a bunch of different “real life” interactive areas to play like a grocery store, airplane, post office, etc. My kids love it!
  • Red Mountain Spa – is incredible! It’s tradition for my dad to treat us girls to a spa day around Christmas time. It’s such a gorgeous place to relax + catch up with my favorite girls!

I hope this helps! When it comes to hotels or places to stay, I’m not much help. We’ve always just stayed with family, but I’ve heard that Desert Color has some incredible Airbnb’s!

5 Spring Cleaning Tips

similar top + similar jeans + bracelets + hat || pillow + throw blanket + similar chair

St. George is still cold and I’m not okay with it! It’s supposed to be warming up next week and I couldn’t be more excited! With the warmer weather coming, my mind instantly goes to spring cleaning + organizing. It’s the best feeling to have a clean + organized home with the new season. With all the kids home for summer soon, it helps to have a clean home that is easy to maintain! So today on the blog I’m talking all about spring cleaning and sharing 5 tips to help find success in your spring cleaning!

5 SPRING CLEANING TIPS

closet cleaning + organization

: START SMALL

This tip is easier said than done but START LITTLE. Don’t think that you need to do your whole house in one day. Focus on one room a day and start by getting rid of the things you don’t need. Just totally declutter and I promise you that the rest of the cleaning will go smoother. Don’t overwhelm yourself, there is no time limit for when it needs to be done. Start when + where it’s comfortable for you and your schedule.

: SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY

We’ve totally downsized…our house we’re in now is smaller than we’re used to. It’s only 4 bedrooms, and all the kids share ONE bathroom. So, we’ve had to get rid of so much stuff and honestly, my load feels much lighter. I truly believe in “the less stuff you have; the more time you have to do the things you love.” I’ve heard this philosophy many times, so I know I’m not crazy. It truly is easier to spend time with my family when I don’t have to worry about spending hours of cleaning or picking up 100 toys, etc. My kids have played with their toys here SO much more than where we lived before because they have LESS toys. My kids have been completely content with having less toys. It’s been so nice.

So that would be my biggest tip: GET RID OF WHAT YOU DON’T NEED/USE. It will be a game changer for you and your family. I’ve learned that you really don’t need all the things you think you do. You guys know I’m all about simplifying, so just trust me on this one.

: OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW

One rule I’ve really been sticking to the past few months is whenever I buy something new, I get rid of something. If I buy 3 swimsuits, I get rid of 3 swimsuits…. that way my closet never gets overcrowded. It helps me evaluate what I’m really willing to get rid of, and how much I should really buy. Same thing goes for your kids’ items. If you get them a new toy, find a toy you can donate or get rid of.

get your kids involved

: INCLUDE YOUR KIDS

Sometimes the thought of tackling spring cleaning on your own is overwhelming! That’s why I’m a big fan of including your kids with the household cleaning. And on top of that, it’s a great opportunity to teach your kids how to properly clean. When cleaning with kids, be sure that you don’t overwhelm them. I like to write down everything that needs to be done that day and have the kids choose what they want to do! This helps them feel responsible with their jobs instead of just being told what to do.

Be sure to make your instructions clear and simple. Help them in the beginning with any questions they might have so they can be confident they’re doing it correctly. Magic Erasers and Clorox wipes are my best friends when teaching my kids to clean.

bathroom organization

: GET ORGANIZED

You guys know that I’m so passionate about organizing + keeping things simple! Keeping my home organized helps me be the person + mom I want to be. My 30 Days to an Organized Home course will walk you through how to organize every room, storage space, and every closet! I know organizing can sound daunting, but once you declutter everything you don’t need/use, organizing is so much easier. And be sure to always start small.

Organizing really is my therapy. Having an organized home helps me to have a clear mind. With busy season upon us, organizing is the best way to tackle spring cleaning and create the home YOU want!

March Amazon Buys

It’s that time again where I share last month’s Amazon orders! Last month I ordered more swimsuits for Mexico, my favorite self tanning lotion, a family favorite game, and more! Keep scrolling to see details!

MARCH AMAZON BUYS

cheetah leotard + hat clip + orange swimsuit + tanning lotion + tan swimsuit + brown swimsuit + telestrations game + micro stitch tool + crochet cover up + gel nail kit + purple swimsuit + cuticule tools

: CHEETAH LEOTARD

Harper picked out this cheetah leotard for gymnastics! It’s definitely not my favorite haha, but it was fun to have her pick it out. If you have girls who love sparkly things, this leotard would be so fun for them! Comes in other fun patterns too and is only $9.99!

: HAT CLIP

I ordered this hat clip/magnet for our Mexico trip coming up! You can attach it to your bag or suitcase and then clip your hats onto it. It holds both of my straw hats! I don’t like packing my hats in my suitcase so I always just carry them onto my flights, so this hat magnet will be a game changer!

: SWIMSUITS + COVER UP

We’re going to Mexico in May so I’ve been ordering a ton of swimsuits to try out! I ordered a size small in the orange ruffle swimsuit, the tan swimsuit, and the purple swimsuit. Those ones are all true to size and have full bum coverage! I ordered this brown swimsuit in a size small, but it was too tight and too cheeky for me, so I ordered the medium. I would definitely size up on that one! I ordered that same swimsuit in this pink color too. Absolutely obsessed with this cover up too, I ordered the small. It’s perfect for going from the pool to dinner!

: SELF TANNING LOTION

This lotion is a gradual tanning lotion and I absolutely love it! It gives such a natural gorgeous look. And better yet, it doesn’t have a smell or stain your sheets!! Hands down amazing. This is my fourth bottle I’ve ordered… I love it that much.

: TELESTRATIONS GAME

This Telestrations game is phenomenal!!! It is THE funniest game. We played it at our friend’s cabin when we went to Brian Head and everyone was dying of laughter! Harper could play it, so it’s good for all ages – even adults! Best $40 we’ve spent in my opinion!!

: MICRO STITCH TOOL

This micro stitch tool is for blouses that are too low, or anything that you need to add one stitch in. It’s been so nice to have! My friend Merrick recommended this and I absolutely love it! Easy to use too.

: GEL NAIL POLISH SET

My friend Betsy recommended this gel nail polish set that comes with 36 colors!!!! For only $34.99! It has been so fun for me and my girls. We do nails every Sunday night and it’s way cheaper than taking them to go get their nails done. They love every color that comes in the kit too. We also ordered these cuticle cleaners, you just run them over your cuticles and it cleans them up!

black studded sandals + flip flops + birkenstocks + studded sandals + pearl sandals + studded sandals + similar tan slides +

St. George has been chilly lately, but I can’t help but think of spring and spring fashion! The blue skies and sunshine bring me so much joy, so I’m hoping it warms up soon! I absolutely love shopping for spring because it means we finally get to start unbundling and thinking all things swim, shorts, and sandals!! Spring sandals are one of my favorites to shop for, so today I’m rounding up a bunch of my favorites to share with you!

SANDALS I’M LOVING

kailee wright outfit

obsessed with these braided sandals | link to shirt + jeans

: PEARL SANDALS

Just like the studded sandals, these pearl sandals are a great sandal for vacation. They transition perfectly from poolside to lunch and go with everything!

: SLIDES

When it comes to spring and summer sandals, slides are a must have! They are quick and easy to throw on and go with just about everything. These tan slides are the perfect everyday spring shoe. I love how versatile they are, and you can’t beat the price at under $20!

: STUDDED SANDALS

I LOVE a good sandal that is super versatile, and these check all the boxes. First, it is classic black so it goes with just about everything. The plastic material makes it great for the beach or pool because its waterproof. And that hint of glam makes it easy to dress up for dinner too. These are my go to for travel because you can pack one shoe and check off all the boxes!

Another great studded sandal that is a great neutral with a pop are these Steve Madden studded sandals! They are always on repeat for me all summer!

: TKEES

If you haven’t tried Tkees, you have got to add them to this spring/summer’s line up! They are such a great quality sandal! These ones are mine and Hunter’s go-to flip flop. You can stick with a classic and get their flip flops in a variety of nudes to match any skin tone, or fun colors and metallics. Use my link to get 10% off your purchase.

: BIRKENSTOCKS

Last but not least, you can’t forget the classic black birkenstock. These are a must have in any closet. They are timeless, comfortable, and so versatile.
