So with the holidays coming up, I’ve been loving looking at all the amazing holiday dresses out there. Holiday and work parties are so fun!! Plus, it’s a perfect excuse to buy a new, fancy dress and a night where we can get to dress up and never be “too” fancy or overdressed! (am I right?! haha!)
I really am loving this non-maternity dress and this one because they can work for maternity + after baby comes. And they are such a fun + shiny metallic colors that are perfect for the holidays. I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorite holiday dresses I’ve seen so far BOTH maternity + non-maternity and linked them all below. Most include free shipping and can be at your door within a few days.

Hope this helps you find that one holiday (and don’t forget New Years) dress you’ve been looking for!! Love you all and hope your having a fabulous day!!
You all know I love to purchase staple pieces for my closet that are versatile and can be worn many different ways!! So today I’m sharing how a simple sleeveless dress can be unbelievably versatile + I can’t get enough of simple designs and pretty colors lately.
Here are a few different ways to style the same maternity dress or non-maternity dress — so that way you can wear it to run errands with your little people, to lunch with your girlfriends, and for date night with your man all in one week or the same day!!
A dress with sneakers is one of my favorite momiforms of all time. Especially while being pregnant. Dresses are so much more comfortable and a great pair of comfortable sneakers just can’t be beat in my book. Throwing on a denim jacket can always help bring the whole outfit together.
Heels and a clutch are always a quick way to dress up any look. I love adding a leather jacket or blazer to any dress for date night + this is the time to add as many accessories as you’d like!!
A comfortable cardigan is another one of my go-to pregnancy pieces. It helps cover some of those areas you might want to cover and with all our continually changing body temperature it’s nice to throw on and off when needed. Paired with a darling pair of lace up flats and your outfit is complete!
So I’ve had a “to-do” list a mile long of little projects I’ve wanted to finish up before the holidays come and family/visitors start coming in as well. I finally got a few checked off my list!! Horray — which were printing new family pictures, hanging a few frames and updated the girls room.
Well I’m happy to tell you I was able to finish all three with the help of Framebridge. We got our family pictures a couple of weeks ago and that same night I was able to order all my prints + pick out the frames I wanted them in. All done within in 20 mins!! Anything to help save time + not have to drag all four little people out is a game changer!! I chatted with Framebridge and they were nice enough to offer my readers 15% on their first Framebridge purchase!! Use the code KAILEE15 at checkout to receive your discount!! Now run.
Also, here are the holiday deadlines for ordering. (incase your trying to spruce up your home before all your guests come) Mail in deadline is 12/4 (only 2 days away!) but print and frame order for anything digital is 12/18, so there’s still plenty of time to frame your heart out for the holidays!!
The next day I ran to Target and picked up two new pillowcases and throws, ripped off the old gold dots and replace the lamp for a couple of plants and volia!!! Room updated!! I hope this helps give you a few ideas for sprucing up any room in your house + I love the fact that you really only have to change out or add a few things to make a huge difference.
I rounded up some of my favorite home items to help you with some of your holiday shopping!! You can check them out below + the best gift guide for “HER” your mom, sister, best girlfriend or even the girl who has everything is HERE.
We are so excited to share our first service project of the season with you all!! This is something our family started doing a few years ago and the feeling that comes from giving service is something I never want my little people to forget + it always brings us back to the most important thing, and that’s helping and giving to others.
The kids put together baskets full of goodies, toys, games and more for one of the children’s hospital that Joe has worked at. They came up with the idea all on their own, which made it that much more meaningful for them. They put baskets together (for their own age group) of items that they loved or thought would be fun and entertaining in the hospital. It was really neat to see all the thought that went into each item. They would discuss it with each other and then ask Joe or I if we thought it would be a fun toy or activity to add to their baskets.
That night we came home and put together all the baskets and went to the children’s hospital the next day and dropped them off to the sick kids. Our people were so excited and afterwards kept saying how good they felt inside. It was such a great experience and they still talk about it today and the other ideas they have to serve others this month.
Each year our church puts out something beautiful for the world to enjoy and connect us closer to the true meaning of Christmas, and THIS year was nothing short of amazing!! #LightTheWorld is the best theme yet!! It’s all about severing others the entire month of December — 25 days, 25 ways to serve others. Isn’t that what Christmas is about?!?
Our family will be participating in more service ideas through out the month and wanted to share it with you all as well!! To find out more information click HERE + the video (I couldn’t get it to upload here) is one of the most touching videos about christmas I’ve seen in a long time. Be prepared to cry. I’ve seen it over a dozen times and I still get overcome with so much emotion and gratitude. I hope you all can get a little inspiration or that feeling to do something good for someone else. I can’t thank you all enough for your kindness + support for our family here in this space!!

This Christmas season #lighttheworld in 25 ways . . . over 25 days.
(yep it’s not always pretty getting ready for a trip)
So who has traveled somewhere with past week for the holidays?!! We did!! We ended up driving to our parent’s house in Utah for Thanksgiving this year. The drive is usually so insane (like double or triple the average time it takes to get there) just because it’s Thanksgiving, but due to sick grandparents we decided to go back home.
We usually leave either late at night or super early in the morning (to avoid traffic at all costs) So the little people stay in their comfy pajamas + nap/sleep on the way. This is a game changer….because Houston does NOT travel well. When we travel I let each kid pack a small backpack of things to entertain them on the ride there and some snacks. I also always have them bring a drink in a non-spillable cup so I don’t have to worry about any spills in the van.
I shared a few more of my favorite tips for “traveling with the little people” HERE. So check it out if your planning on traveling for Christmas with your littles.
Also, Skip Hop still has an amazing sale going on!! It’s up to 50% off site wide until tonight!! Hurry on over and snag some great deals! We love their zoo collection products. They have such a fun assortment of products from pajamas (Houston is loving monkeys right now), backpacks, lunch bags, ect. and the kids absolutely love them!
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend! Let me know if you guys have any more great tips that work for your little people when traveling for holidays!!

Some people say you can’t wear white after Labor Day, but I don’t think that rule really applies anymore. haha! You can make a white dress look wintery with a long cardigan + knee high boots and a hat. Or you can pair it with booties and a leather jacket too!
With the holidays here, we are all looking for that perfect party dress. Wearing body-con dresses can be tricky, especially when pregnant. It’s always so tough trying to hide those undergarment lines, or trying to find a dress that isn’t so tight that it creates those nagging creases you can never get rid of. However, I’ve learned that finding the perfect shapewear + a dress with some stretch, like this one, is key for finding that perfect body-con dress look.
After having four babies I pretty much feel like the “shapewear expert”. My favorite thing to wear post-baby is a pair of shapewear that smooths out all of those extra curves. They have been a lifesaver when trying to get ready for fancy events right after baby. Plus, it’s one thing I swear by to help get my belly back down after having a baby. I really like these high-waist SPANX to wear with dresses + tight blouses and jeans. I also like this slip that smooths out your curves and is great to wear with those body-con dresses! You can read more HERE why shapewear is my go to after baby.
I rounded up some of my favorite-most used shapewear below. Snag some before all the holidays hit so your ready when those dresses are laying quite right. Plus, happy Thanksgiving week friends!!!
I can’t believe next week is already Thanksgiving. This year we are actually going back home to Utah for the holiday and it will be our first time back for Thanksgiving in four years! And we might be slightly excited!
I’ve been loving wearing long cozy cardigans and big sweaters for the fall season. It’s suppose to be cooler in Utah next week so we are looking forward to the crisp fall air!! Are you frinds headed anywhere fun? Or where is home for you all? I’d love to here!!
Cooking with the little people (well, at least the older two) is always so much fun, especially now that they’re older and can really help out. We all love dinner time because it’s the one time during the day we can all get together to sit down and talk about each others day. I necessarily don’t love to cook dinner or think about what we’re going to have BUT I do love that its a time that we can focus on our little people.
We just discovered Hello Fresh and I am loving it because it takes the thinking + stress out of dinner a few nights a week. With soccer practices, dance lessons, and everything else, taking the time to prepare a nice dinner is few and far between these days — and I doubt it’s going to get any better with baby #5 coming in less then 7 weeks. I was a little specifically because sometimes the food isn’t so great with these sort of things, but I was presently surprised at how great the food is!!
Hello Fresh has great, healthy recipes to pick from + they provide fresh ingredients that are delivered right to our door which saves me another trip to the grocery store! The recipes are super easy to follow and I love that it’s not time-consuming either – super quick + simple! Plus, they also have basic meals which is what my people like best. So that was a game changer in my book.
Hello Fresh was so kind to offer my readers $35 off their first box!! How great is that! Use the code KAILEE35 at HelloFresh.com and just wait for your yummy meals to be delivered to your door! I’m so excited for you guys to try it out! Happy weekend friends!!
